Experience Japanese culinary heritage
The freshest daily ingredients prepared with generational expertise
At Yamazato, we invite you to celebrate the very best of Japanese culinary heritage and omotenashi hospitality. Traditional decor and warm, understated tones provide the setting to savor time-tested dishes that define Japanese cuisine. Observe masters at work at the sushi counter, or allow the chef to surprise you at the kappo counter. Experience centuries-old traditions in our tea ceremony room.
Welcome to our traditional Japanese restaurant in Tokyo, where fine dining meets warm hospitality
Our chefs insist on using the very best seasonal ingredients sourced from the most dedicated producers. Every element in each dish has been carefully chosen, and delicate preparation ensures that natural flavors take center stage. Drinks like hojicha green tea or deeply fragrant sake also honor tradition.
A work of culinary art
The presentation of each dish is an essential part of authentic Japanese cuisine. This art is as much a skill as origami or traditional music. Dishes often feature many colorful, intricately arranged elements, each one thoughtfully placed. We would ask you to take a moment to appreciate the expert work of our chefs before you enjoy the flavors.
